Prenatal Classes

At 26 weeks, we enrolled in prenatal classes provided by the hospital we're giving birth to. They provide these 3 classes for a bundle price.

Child Birth
Topics covered include what to expect during labor, birth, and postpartum. Additional topics include pain medication options, common medical and hospital procedures, and postpartum care for the mother. A tour of The Family Birthplace and Special Care Nursery are included.

Baby Care
Topics include newborn characteristics and behaviors, common concerns, newborn development, and when to call the doctor. Hands on skills for bathing diapering, swaddling and burping.

Breast Feeding
Topics covered include how breastfeeding works, first feedings, special situations, the father's role, going home, common concerns, solutions/treatments, returning to work, and breast pumps.

We didn't got a chance to take this one since baby was born a little early than expected.
